Our appointment-only studio is located in the North Loop neighborhood in Bde Óta Oṭuƞwe/Minneapolis. It is a short walk from the 14 bus line and a 5 block walk from the Target Field metro station.

There is metered street parking as well as a handful of paid lots surrounding the shop; fees and availability vary day-to-day and season-to-season. With Target Field nearby, we encourage folks to plan their arrival accordingly.

Access and Privacy:

The studio is located on the 2nd floor of the building. The building can be entered through the front door and the side door (information/photos of entrances below)

The building has two entrances:

The front entrance is located off of N 3rd St. Once you have made an appointment, your artist will give you a door code to enter. There are two steps leading up to the front door and once you’re inside, two flights of stairs up to the studio on the second floor. 

The side entrance is off of N 7th Ave there are two ramps leading up to a set of double doors. Once inside, there are two flights of stairs or a freight elevator around the corner to your left. Please let your artist know if you need elevator access; as operating the elevator requires assistance.

The floor plan of the studio is one large 4-walled room with 4 stations spread out. Privacy curtains and barriers are available.

There are three bathrooms across the hall that are shared with the other folks who work in the building, as well as two bathrooms on the 1st floor across from the elevator, and two more in the basement level. All bathrooms are single rooms with railings and wide doorways, except for the “mens” room.

There is both heating and air conditioning throughout the entire building. The thermostat that controls our studio’s temperature is located in the studio next door and is not controlled by us, but we maintain open communication with these folks to create a comfortable atmosphere for both studios.
